Four Flights to Love

Overview

Set in pre-World War I Paris, aspiring artist Pierre LeBlanc finds love with Janine, a dressmaker's assistant. Their idyllic life shatters when war erupts and Pierre is drafted. Tragedy strikes as Janine dies during childbirth, leaving Pierre heartbroken and seeking solace in perilous military missions. While recovering from injuries, he channels his grief into fashion sketches, leading to a successful career post-war. Years later, as he raises his daughter, Pierre contemplates remarriage with a woman closer to her age. Ultimately, he prioritizes his daughter's happiness over his own desires, demonstrating his deep love and sacrifice.
