Overview

Set in Pennsylvania in 1956, Frank Sheeran, an Irish-American war veteran turned truck driver, crosses paths with mob boss Russell Bufalino. As Frank earns Bufalino's trust, he is dispatched to Chicago to assist the influential union leader Jimmy Hoffa, who has deep ties to organized crime. Over nearly two decades, Frank and Hoffa develop a complex friendship, navigating the murky waters of loyalty and betrayal within the criminal underworld. The film intricately weaves their relationships against a backdrop of power struggles and shifting allegiances.
