Overview

Set in 1996, Pooja is a teenage girl infatuated with a white boy, reminiscent of her favorite film heroes. Yet, living in a predominantly Black and Brown neighborhood presents a stark cultural divide that complicates her feelings. Rather than a conventional romance, the narrative unfolds as a journey of self-discovery, where Pooja learns to navigate her identity and the complexities of love, ultimately focusing on embracing herself amidst societal challenges.
