Overview

Orphan Pip learns from lawyer Mr. Jaggers that an unknown benefactor is funding his transformation into a gentleman. His path leads him back to Miss Havisham, his eccentric childhood guardian, and Estella, the stunning yet aloof girl he loves. Pip soon uncovers the tragic backstory of Miss Havisham, who has descended into madness after being jilted at her wedding. In her bitterness, she has molded Estella into a cruel seductress, complicating Pip's aspirations and desires as he grapples with the consequences of wealth and affection.
