Terry's dull existence takes a turn when a humanoid sea creature, known as ManFish, washes ashore. As an unlikely bond forms between them, Terry grapples with her burgeoning feelings. However, complications arise when her older brother, involved in criminal activities, sets his sights on the creature for his own gain.
