Overview

Set against the backdrop of the 1990s, two brothers find themselves at the center of a gruesome murder trial, accused of taking the lives of eight women, a man, and a child in the Serra dos Órgãos area. As Sergeant Téo investigates, he uncovers a deeply flawed justice system steeped in racism, leading him to question the guilt of one brother. Drawing inspiration from a true crime story, Macabre offers a fictionalized exploration of the notorious "Necrophil Brothers" case, examining societal biases and the search for truth amidst a media frenzy.
