Overview

A devoted Washington Senators fan, Joe Boyd, finds himself frustrated with his team’s lack of success. In a moment of desperation, he strikes a Faustian bargain with the Devil, trading his soul for the chance to help his beloved team clinch the pennant. Transformed into a star player, Joe experiences the thrill of victory and newfound fame, but soon realizes the price of his deal is higher than he expected.
