Overview

In search of a break from her troubled marriage, surgeon Celina heads to the countryside to visit an old college friend. Upon arrival, she quickly senses that all isn't well with Paula, her friend's stepdaughter. Celina soon discovers that Paula has tried to take her own life, but she's far from equipped to assist, as she is escaping a haunting secret of her own. This retreat turns out to be the worst possible refuge, as her unresolved issues resurface, casting a shadow over everyone in the small, suffocating town.
