Overview

Sylvie, a young woman convinced she's under a curse, resides in Carcassonne with her guardian, Mr. Toulzac, a retired teacher fascinated by the mysteries of the Cathars, a medieval sect that revered death. Her life takes a hopeful turn when she encounters Roland, a composer who inspires her to see beyond her despair.
