Overview

Rookie pilot Ens. Alan Drake joins the elite Hellcats Squadron but struggles to make a good impression after a foggy arrival forces him to ditch his plane. His lackluster shooting skills lead to a loss in an air combat competition, earning him skepticism from his fellow pilots. Tensions rise when they mistakenly believe he is involved with Lorna, the wife of their absent commanding officer, Billy Gray. Facing isolation and contemplating resignation, Drake redeems himself through remarkable bravery when he saves Gray’s life, ultimately winning back the trust of his squadron.
