Overview

Facing struggles with diabetes, prostate cancer, alcoholism, and Parkinson’s disease, eight individuals embark on a transformative journey to the Amazon rainforest, seeking healing beyond the limits of Western medicine. For a month, they immerse themselves in the ancient practices of indigenous healers, exploring potent plant-based remedies and spiritual rituals. This experience challenges them to confront their physical ailments alongside deep-seated psychological and spiritual hurdles. As their paths diverge, five participants emerge with newfound hope, two leave disillusioned, and one tragically does not return, highlighting the unpredictable nature of healing and self-discovery.
