Overview

Five individuals are selected by the Viking Society to participate in a groundbreaking mission to Mars. Chosen for their psychological parallels to the five astronauts heading to the red planet, these volunteers serve as a B-team, embodying alternate versions of the crew. While the astronauts embark on their journey, the recruits remain on Earth, experiencing the emotional and psychological challenges of the mission in a secluded setting.
