Overview

Antonina, a passionate artist from Saint Petersburg, relocates to the remote northern region of Russia to be near her husband, imprisoned for his political beliefs. While teaching art at a local school, she encounters resistance from Misha, a twelve-year-old boy with ties to a notorious gang through his brother. Their conflict highlights the struggles of creativity and expression against a backdrop of fear and oppression, forcing Antonina to navigate the complexities of her new environment while inspiring her students.
