Overview

Five Hong Kong police officers are abducted while the commissioner is abroad. The case falls into the hands of rivals Sean Lau and M.B. Lee, both eager to secure the commissioner's position. Initially, M.B. Lee makes progress, but he soon hits a wall. Taking a turn, Sean Lau steps in, only to find himself ensnared in a trap. As the tension escalates, both vice commissioners come under scrutiny from the Independent Commission Against Corruption, forcing them to navigate not only the case but also their own dubious motives.
