Overview

Abila, a 14-year-old boy, resides in one of Africa's most impoverished slums. His girlfriend, Shiku, comes from a different tribe, making their relationship frowned upon by their communities. One fateful night, his father, in a drunken stupor, stakes everything he has in a gamble, jeopardizing their family's future.
