Overview

Jerry, a struggling car dealer in Minnesota, finds himself drowning in financial troubles. In a desperate bid for cash, he devises a scheme to have his wife kidnapped by two criminals, aiming to extort a large ransom from his affluent father-in-law. He believes the plan is foolproof and that no one will be harmed, but things spiral out of control as violence ensues.
