Overview

This film tells the true story of Joseph and Rebecca Bau, who exchanged vows in the Plaszow concentration camp during World War II. Joseph uses his artistic talent to survive and aid countless others in their escape. Amidst the horror, he unexpectedly discovers love. Years later, he is summoned to testify against the cruel Nazi officer who tormented him and murdered his father, forcing him to confront haunting memories of the Holocaust. Drawing on the strength of his love and his unbreakable spirit, Joseph prepares to confront the darkest chapter of his past.
