Overview

Elvis, fresh from the Navy, travels to Texas seeking his estranged father, Pastor Dave, who leads a Christian community church. Unbeknownst to his family, Dave has a past with Elvis’s mother and instructs them to avoid Elvis altogether. Meanwhile, Elvis becomes entangled with Malerie, the pastor’s 16-year-old daughter, igniting a forbidden romance. As their relationship deepens, Pastor Dave grapples with his conscience, questioning his beliefs and the nature of forgiveness. The story unfolds as characters confront their pasts and seek redemption, ultimately exploring the complexities of faith and familial ties.
