Overview

Charlie, who escaped Armenia as a child, returns in 1948 seeking to reconnect with his heritage. Instead, he discovers a nation oppressed by Soviet control. Wrongfully imprisoned, despair envelops him until a glimmer of hope emerges. Through his cell window, he spies into the apartment of a prison guard, igniting a flicker of possibility for escape and redemption.
