Overview

Scarpedicemente is a darkly comedic exploration of confinement, adapted from a play by its stars, married duo John Vamvas and Olga Montes. The story follows Luigi (John Vamvas), a delusional gangster infatuated with his flighty wife Holly (Olga Montes). As they mark their first wedding anniversary in a rundown Las Vegas motel, their deep love is overshadowed by their struggles to live in the moment. Luigi, a living film projector, constantly relives his favorite gangster flicks, while Holly's bubbly demeanor conceals a troubled past threatening to disrupt their relationship. This tale captures the tumultuous journey of two emotionally burdened individuals.
