Overview

Set in the tumultuous early Middle Ages, a ruling clan grapples with internal strife following the accidental death of a brother, placing the blame squarely on the Grand Duke. According to the harsh laws of the time, the duty of vengeance falls to the younger, illegitimate brother. His refusal to carry out the act of revenge leads to dire consequences, forcing him to sacrifice everything he holds dear. The stark reality emerges that achieving peace demands more bloodshed than waging war, as loyalties fracture and darkness looms over their fates.
