Overview

Ben Marcus, a reality-TV editor grappling with a mid-life crisis, seeks fulfillment through his long-held dream of becoming a comedian. His initial attempts at stand-up on YouTube go unnoticed until a video of him struggling with a home project, shared by his son, unexpectedly goes viral. Suddenly, he’s thrust into the limelight as "Selfie Dad," gaining fame and accolades. However, the success does little to satisfy him. A friendship with a younger colleague, Mickey, ultimately guides Ben toward true happiness, blending family values with his newfound online persona.
