Overview

Rich Donato works as a janitor at an Oregon high school, where he’s a respected figure among the students who often turn to him for guidance. However, he faces a significant hurdle: he lacks a high school diploma. The school board informs him that he must obtain his GED within 30 days to keep his job. After struggling with the test on his own and failing, his wife steps in, mobilizing the community to support Rich’s efforts. With the encouragement and assistance of both teachers and students, Rich discovers that he can achieve anything.
