Overview

Fortuna, a 14-year-old girl from Ethiopia, anxiously awaits news of her parents who vanished while crossing the Mediterranean. As winter descends, she and fellow refugees find refuge in a Swiss Catholic monastery. Amidst uncertainty about her future, Fortuna discovers she is pregnant.
