Police Academy

Overview

With new regulations introduced by the Lady Mayoress, traditional criteria like sex, weight, height, and intelligence are eliminated for joining the Police Force. This leads to a diverse and unruly group of recruits at the Police Academy, much to the annoyance of the instructors. Among them is social outcast Mahoney, who reluctantly enrolls to avoid jail. He quickly clashes with the stern Lieutenant Harris. However, as time passes, Mahoney discovers a newfound enjoyment in his cadet life, while Harris becomes increasingly determined to expel him from the program.
