Overview

Set in 1828, amidst the turmoil following the suppression of revolutionary movements in the monarchist South, three close friends rally around Giuseppe Mazzini's vision for a unified Italy under republican rule. Their youthful enthusiasm drives them to fight for change, but as decades pass, the harsh realities of their quest lead to disillusionment.
