Overview

A miller, eager to secure his daughter's future, claims she can turn straw into gold to win the King's favor. With the assistance of a mischievous imp, she successfully fulfills this promise, but the King's greed grows as he demands even more. In a desperate move, she promises the imp her first child in exchange for further help. However, when the time comes to keep her end of the bargain, sinister forces collide as the imp strikes a deal with the devil, leading to unforeseen consequences.
