Overview

Mark and Olivia, a young American couple, eagerly anticipate their first child and decide to fulfill their dream of traveling to Europe. They secure a quaint lakeside accommodation in Germany through an online portal and embark on their four-week adventure. Upon arrival, Elisabeth, daughter of their elderly landlady, greets them. They soon discover the 82-year-old woman is gravely ill in the hospital. As they settle into their new surroundings, a mysterious and unsettling event unfolds during their first night that leaves the couple questioning the tranquility of their idyllic getaway.
