After winning the 1984 Best New Artist Award for a forgotten hit, The Electrifiers have struggled to break into the mainstream for three decades. Now, they find themselves performing at nursing homes and budget B&Bs, while their lead singer clings to his youthful rock star dreams. As frustration mounts among the band members, an unexpected chance arises that could finally catapult them to stardom.
