Winter's Flower

Overview

Kanno, a Yakuza member, is forced to eliminate Matsuoka for his betrayal. Aware of Matsuoka's young daughter, Youko, Kanno entrusts her care to a loyal associate before surrendering to the authorities. Throughout his 15-year imprisonment, he writes to Youko, posing as an uncle living in Brazil. Upon his release, Kanno strives for a legitimate life, but the Yakuza are unwilling to let his past transgressions fade away. As old loyalties clash with his desire for redemption, Kanno faces the haunting repercussions of his former life.
