Overview

Daigo, a passionate cellist, faces unemployment when his orchestra disbands, prompting a move with his wife to their more affordable hometown. In search of new employment, he mistakenly applies for a position he believes is at a travel agency, only to discover it's for an assistant role in a funeral home. As he navigates this unexpected career path, Daigo confronts societal taboos surrounding death, ultimately discovering profound meaning and connection in his work, reshaping his understanding of life and loss along the way.
