Overview

Feet Samuels, a gambler, unexpectedly finds love with Hortense while contemplating a scientific sacrifice. Meanwhile, Harriet struggles with grief after her beloved parrot's tragic demise. The narrative thickens as "Regret," a gambler, finds himself on the run from bloodhounds after being implicated in a murder.
