Overview

In a secluded mountain village in Latin America, the men are drafted for a civil war, leaving the women to navigate life independently. Rosalba emerges as a leader, guiding her fellow villagers as they transform from traditional roles into pioneers of a thriving female utopia. As they build their new society, the men, accompanied by an American journalist, return seeking to reassert control. This leads to a dramatic confrontation between genders, revealing unexpected outcomes and challenging the established norms of power and identity.
