Overview

Air America chronicles the clandestine operations of the CIA's private airline in Laos amid the Vietnam War, transporting everything from troops to supplies for local communities. After losing his pilot's license, Billy Covington finds himself recruited into this chaotic world, where he encounters a band of eccentric pilots. He soon discovers his friend Gene Ryack is involved in gun-running, while those in charge are entangled in opium trafficking.
