Overview

In the coastal town of Boulogne, the weight of the past looms heavily over its residents. Hélène, an antique furniture dealer, struggles to reconcile her memories, while her stepson Bernard grapples with his own unresolved issues. Adding to the tension, Alphonse, Hélène's former lover, re-enters their lives, stirring up old emotions and unhealed wounds. Each character's inability to confront their history complicates their relationships, weaving a poignant narrative of nostalgia and regret against the backdrop of a picturesque seaside setting.
