Overview

Set against the backdrop of pre-Civil War tensions, Southern saboteurs aim to halt the railroad's expansion across Kansas toward the frontier. Army captain Nelson is dispatched to thwart their efforts. As construction progresses, he faces a series of escalating attacks on the tracks.
