Overview

Haunted by his experiences in World War I, Jean Diaz turns his back on love and joy, dedicating himself to scientific endeavors aimed at preventing future conflicts. Believing he has created a revolutionary machine, he watches in dismay as the government misappropriates his invention, paving the way for another catastrophic war. In a final act of desperation, Diaz calls upon the spirits of fallen soldiers from the battlefields of France, compelling them to rise and voice their silent, haunting accusations against the impending chaos of World War II.
