Overview

Heidi, a troubled Australian teenager, is forced to flee her home after being discovered with her mother’s boyfriend. Seeking refuge in the tourist town of Jindabyne, she meets Joe at a local bar and begins to explore a romantic connection. As Heidi attempts to establish a semblance of stability through employment and a new living arrangement, her relationship with Joe faces significant challenges. Both are drawn together by their desires, but the complexities of their pasts threaten to disrupt the fragile life she is trying to build.
