Overview

A local fisherman in a Thai coastal village finds a mute stranger and names him Thongchai, offering him friendship and shelter. However, after the fisherman mysteriously vanishes at sea, Thongchai gradually steps into his friend's life, assuming his home, job, and even engaging with his wife. As Thongchai navigates this new existence, the boundaries between their identities blur, raising questions about belonging, love, and the impact of loss in a tranquil yet haunting setting.
