Overview

Nina and Jan, a French-German couple who co-own an advertising agency, hope to relieve their escalating stress by retreating to their seaside vacation home with their children, Max and Emma. However, their getaway takes a dark turn when burglars invade their house, witnessed only by Nina. Initially, the incident seems to strengthen family bonds, but tension escalates when Max admits he saw his father hiding during the chaos. As the police probe the break-in and inconsistencies arise, the couple's trust in one another begins to fracture, revealing deeper issues beneath their surface.
