Overview

Tottie True, a vibrant British music-hall star from the 1890s, dreams of transforming her humble beginnings into a life of luxury. Her heart, however, belongs to the earnest balloonist Sid Skinner, even as she pursues a higher social standing. Ultimately, she chooses to marry the wealthy Lord Landon Digby, who embodies the quintessential stiff upper lip.
