Overview

In "Space Cowboys," veteran test pilots Frank Corvin, ‘Hawk’ Hawkins, Jerry O'Neill, and ‘Tank’ Sullivan, once part of the ambitious Project Daedalus, find their dreams of space exploration sidelined by NASA's rise and the use of trained monkeys in their place. Years later, when the Russian ‘Ikon’ communications satellite faces an imminent crash due to its deteriorating orbit, the quartet seizes the opportunity. Employing some clever blackmail tactics, they secure their chance to venture into space and confront the looming disaster head-on.
