Wonder Women (1987)

Overview

Leung and Ling embark on a wild week as they chase their dreams of fame through a beauty pageant. Though they’re touted as frontrunners, neither makes the top five. Ling faces heartbreak as her boyfriend dumps her and she loses her job, leaving her reluctant to return home. Leung offers refuge in her rooftop bungalow, sparking a close friendship forged through shared struggles. However, their bond is tested when they both fall for the charming Wong. Ultimately, they discover his true nature, leading to a rekindled friendship as they unite against their mutual disappointment.
