In the lead-up to the millennium on December 28, 1999, New Yorkers are buzzing with excitement for the new year. But the festivities are interrupted when Satan himself arrives in the city, seeking out his destined bride, a young woman named Christine York. With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, an unlikely hero emerges in the form of Jericho Cane, an atheist who must confront the dark forces at play to save Christine and prevent the impending apocalypse.
