Tijan, a 12-year-old boy, embarks on a transformative journey back to his Gambian roots after a street fight in London leaves a local boy injured. Upon arriving in Banjul with his mother, he encounters a mysterious figure in a mirror—a boy who smiles before disappearing. When Tijan spots him again in a busy market, chaos ensues as he becomes separated from his frantic mother. Alone, he is guided by the enigmatic Mirror Boy, who leads him through a spiritual odyssey filled with challenges and revelations, revealing deeper truths about his identity and heritage.
