James Bond is tasked with uncovering the circumstances behind this theft. As he investigates, he uncovers a sinister plot by industrial magnate Max Zorin, who intends to eliminate his rivals in Silicon Valley by instigating a catastrophic earthquake in the San Francisco Bay area. Bond must race against time to thwart Zorin's deadly scheme.
