Overview

A young substitute teacher at a Rome elementary school introduces her class to L. Frank Baum’s classic, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. As she reads, the boundary between reality and imagination blurs, and the children are unexpectedly drawn into a whimsical reimagining of the beloved tale. Strange occurrences unfold, transforming the classroom into a fantastical realm where each child embodies a character from Oz.
