Overview

Set in 1984 Sverdlovsk, USSR, a group of diverse students—a shy freshman, an aspiring entrepreneur, a poet, and two charismatic women—forge deep connections while experiencing the highs and lows of dorm life. Their close-knit community is shattered when a tragic suicide occurs, forcing them to confront their own vulnerabilities and the complexities of their relationships. The dorm serves as a microcosm of society, reflecting the spectrum of human emotions, from bravery and betrayal to love and longing, as they navigate their tumultuous journey together in the face of adversity.
