Overview

An underwater mishap in the Marianas Trench triggers a catastrophic tsunami that devastates the Hawaiian Islands and heads toward the western shores of North and South America. As panic spreads along the coast, scientists attempt to mitigate the disaster with an underwater explosion, unintentionally intensifying the tsunami’s force towards Los Angeles. With the military preparing for chaos, emergency evacuations begin. Amidst the turmoil, a daring grad student devises a bold plan: initiate a massive earthquake to counter the impending wave and elevate the continental shelf, risking everything for a chance at survival.
