Overview

Reiko, a war widow, dedicates herself to operating a grocery store in her late husband's family home. As time passes, a new supermarket emerges, jeopardizing her livelihood. Faced with mounting pressure, Reiko's in-laws contemplate transforming their quaint shop into a larger supermarket, which would undermine her efforts and disrupt the community's fabric.
